Back home for CNY

I have arrived back in my hometown since yesterday for the cny. I stop by the beach rather than heading home straight. I was early in the morning (around 8am), and the beach is very quiet, even the the sea is calm. I do always enjoy the breeze at the beach.

Since I only have 2 hours of sleep the night before, I fall into sleep till noon after reach home. Not that I can't continue sleep, but it's just too hot and I am sweating. The weather during cny is always the same, hot....hot.. and hot...

Most of my close friends are not coming back this year. And those who are back will leaving on Wednesday. Now I am considering to may be back to kl earlier too.

Hmmmm...CNY just not as fun as it used to be when all my close friends were still single.

Paparazzi

Did you ever be a paparazzi? I did yesterday.

It all start from a call that my senior manager received. He was told that 2 of my technicians were lying about their medical leave to do outside job. Therefore, we had to drive all the way to Manjalara to find out the true.

Once we arrived, I was surprised to find out 3 of my technicians were there, including the one I least expected, my senior technician. Since we had to get some pictures of them as prove, I have to try my best to get some shoots by hiding behind a car, behind the tree, and even behind the pillar. I even try to snap a picture from inside our car while drive pass the entrance. Finally, I discover a spot where I can capture without been notice, by hiding behind water tank in a park.

For the next hour, that was the only thing that I do, trying to get the best shoot that I can get while hiding from them. Doesn't that sound like paparazzi? haha.

When I was just about to leave the office this afternoon, it rain again. So suddenly without any sign. I wonder why was it always rain when I decided to leave my office?

While I wait for the rain to stop at the corridor, I was distracted by a loud dog bark and found out there was a dog fell into the drain across the street. Seem like the drain was too deep for it to climb up. I wanted to pull it up but was afraid at the same time. Finally I found a piece of plank to help it. After I place the plank in the drain, the dog was no where to be seen. Later I found out that it had help itself out from the drain from the other end of the drain, what a relief.

Car breakdown

Yesterday when I tried to start my car, shit, it can't be started. From the sound of the engine, I knew this must be due to the battery. After sms my office to inform them that I will be late, the only thing I can do was get a new battery from the workshop. While waiting, I realized that the sky was quite beautiful during sunrise. 8.30am, I thought the workshop should have open by that time, so I drove (my housemate's car) down the hill. And u know what? None of the workshops is open yet! So I had no choice but to get help from my mechanic. While waiting for him, I went back to my apartment, login to facebook and play some game, at least I get to relax, haha. After he arrived, found out that the alternator was overcharging the battery, a rare case. Guess what time I reach my office? almost 11am. that is a record for me, haha.

My 1st tango class

I was stuck in the heavy traffic on federal highway to this place that I have never heard of, OCM, it's a old building near the Stadium Merdeka. Can't believe that it took me almost 1.5 hour to reach there, will never take federal highway again next time.

Iq have told me about this Tango class a month ago, and finally I gave it a try last Thursday. The instructor is a funny Caucasian guy. Since I am new to Tango, he assigned me to his boyfriend, Zac, for some basic walk in Tango. Zac is gentle and patient in guiding the students, and I did learn a lot from him. Did I enjoy the class? Yes, I did enjoy it very much. They are organizing a Tango Festival on 9-12 April. Shoud I go? Hmm...May be I shall.

Movie

Confession of a shopaholic on Monday and Talentime on Tuesday. That was what I had done for the last 2 nights at the Curve... watching movie. 2 days continuously, hard to believe, haha. The 1st one was very entertaining, and did I mention that the lead actor Hugh Dancy is hot? He has the quality of Jude Law, but much younger... and more hair, haha! Talentime was... how should I put it? It was very Yasmin Ahmad. Not much of a surprise but it was still nice, even if it was a bit slow at the beginning.

Weekend trip to melaka

Was in Melaka last 2 weeks during the long weekend. Just tried to escape from KL, looking for a place where we can relax. So we ended up in Melaka, just me, ky and ju. Haven't been there for a long time, but everything still looks familiar. The weekend night market, the people, the stall, the atmosphere, nothing has changed. ju suggested to us about this new guesthouse called Jalan-Jalan. I Googled it online and it gave me the same feeling from another guesthouse that I used to love so much, and it turned out even better than I have expected. Cozy, clean and relaxing. Love it.
